Why the delay? She described it as "complicated," but mostly involved the fact that he was away most of the time, in Florida. "But he moved back here last year," she said.Īlthough it was a simple wedding, Pari described the occasion - on Valentine's Day - as a joyous one. He was born in Kokomo, on February 20, 1963, the son of Donald Eugene and Mary Claranne (Ely) Budd. On June 21, 1991, he married Ellea Kay Benham at the Beamer United Methodist Church, and she survives. Randy was a 1981 graduate of Kokomo High School. He graduated from Ball State University in 1987 where he majored in Photo Journalism. His schooling served him well in his career as a sports photographer for an independent local newspaper. He was an accomplished photographer and often took walks for the perfect snapshot or photograph site. Randy worked as a life skills clinician and case manager at Community Fairbanks Behavioral Health Howard in downtown Kokomo. When his health declined, he turned his artistic ability to producing numerous graphite drawings. His favorite vacations were spent with family and friends in South Haven, MI, for the past 20 years. He was a current member of First Church of the Nazarene in Kokomo.
